Product Description
Offering a compact size and discreet carry options, Undercover® karambits are easy to conceal and offer powerful personal protection that won't let you down.
I had bought the 13 inch stilleto knives from ebay but two of the three had issues with the blade and handle so I needed a knife that doubles for utility and defense for off hand combat. This fits the bill! The knife is sharp right from the box and double edged! I had requested the engraving to be done and I love it! I do want to point out that I still sharpen my knives a bit more precise by preference once they come in since it can never be too sharp! ;) Lastly, it is better to loop the belt through the holster instead of sliding it on but like someone said, you can reinforce it with paracord to avoid it coming off. Awesome job Budk!

ONE B4D 4$$ Knife!!!
This is my new GO TO blade. *****FIVE STARS*****
Only 2 things I want to mention. The belt 'clip' for the sheath should have a different design so that you don't have to unfasten your belt to secure it but also to keep it attached when deploying the knife. The sheath itself though has excellent retention to keep the knife secure if wearing it as a neck knife. Second, I plan on wrapping paracord around the handle for a little bit more 'comfort'.
All in all, I am super happy with this purchase. THANK YOU BUDK and United Cutlery. I look forward to many other purchases!!!

Doubled edge razor!!!
Got in today after reading the reviews I was a bit taken aback about the dullness and lack of an edge on the outer edge. Well I was prepared to put it to the belt grinder and through the whole gambit of sharping and re-profiling, cause what good is a single edge Karambit in CQC. When I opened the box I was over joyed to see and feel the double edges and I mean RAZOR SHARP edges both sides shaved my arms bald. The handle is a bit uncomfortable but I did the same as I did with my U.C. magnum push dagger I took a lil black stick to self gauze and comfy'ed it up a lil, and it is one BADASS weapon!!! P.S. Im lovin it and BUDK!!! `

The favorite of my collection...
I LOVE this knife. The sheath is well-made (surprisingly). The point of the knife is brutally sharp, and, unlike many reviews, my blade came very sharp. The back edge wasn't sharp, but a dremel fixed that problem. Now, it's my constant companion. I can't say enough good about this knife AND BudK.

wicked sharp point
Love how sharp the needle point is. I rigged it up to go across the small of my back:-)

Best karambit ever.
This is the best karambit ever! Fresh out of the box it was super sharp. This will be the knife I carry ever where.

Good Knife Needed sharpening
Knife is solid and easy to draw. Latched it to my tactical messenger bag. Inside curve needed some sharpening, outside needed a lot of work to get it sharp. For the price no complaints though

This weapon is quite intimidating. If you had this in a street fight you would probaly win. The only thing is that it is not sharp but it is not made to be because blunt force would do the job. So overall, a great weapon
This Is a "vicious" looking Karambit! My Little sister just bought us a matching set for us to practice on and other than this being a single edged Karambit, for the price it's great! Way to go United Cutlery and thanks BudK!!! Isaac & Irene.

Great Knife
Duh it's a small knife, did these people not know this before purchasing? This knife was way better than expected when it came in the mail, considering the price. I was actually hoping it to be a bit smaller than it turned out to bit, however, great size. The only thing is the blade is very dull, definitely needs a good sharpening, but great value!

Very nice karambit. The sides aren't sharp, but they don't need to be. point is razor sharp, though. the only problems that I had with the knife was the large grip. My hand does not fit comfortably in the second hole. This isn't a major problem, I just don't use the second hole. The sheath is mostly nice, but takes some getting used to. Once the bolts are lock-tight and you find a thin enough belt to fit through the sheath (I used my boy scout belt), it works very well. Every once in a while, the knife has trouble getting completely into the sheath, but it's just a minor nuisance on occasion. Very good knife for the price!

Good value
Came un sharpened, but with a touch up on a sanding disc, it hold a nice edge. Draws and holsters nicely. Nice balance and grip. A multi-useful edged blade.

Nice point
I was surprised at the quality when I received these karambits. I oredered two of them, and received them very quickly. They are fairly comfortable. One with larger hands may have trouble holding this knife comfortably, but it fits my hand well. Both came with very nice tips. I read some of the other comments about how hard this knife was to sharpen. I didn't have any problems sharpening these blades. I enjoy the light weight feel of these knives as well. This karambit has nice "rugged" spots on both ends of the handle for a good grip for your thumb. All in all this is a very nice karambit.

ok
Awkward sized finger holes , and blunt , but other than that pretty ok knife.

This was an overall good product. The knife itself was really pointy, not sharp, but karambits don't need to be. I have smaller hands, and this product was made for people with big hands. But its not that big of a deal, I just cant put my pinky in the second finger hole comfortably. The sheath was a little disappointing. Its a little hard to get it in there all the way sometimes, and the belt lop is a little small, but it works. A very good buy, though.

It's Okay
The knife feels and fits good in my hand. I have had problems with trench style knife handles not fitting my large hands/finger, but this one fits great. The blade on the underside was sharp, but the upper blade was really dull and took forever to get a sharp edge using a diamond/carbide, handheld sharpener. After pulling the blade from the sheath, it is necessary to change grips. I mean, the finger hole closest to the blade is covered by the sheath, so you have to take an extra step just to hold the blade properly after removing it from the sheath. However, the sheath is good quality and fits the blade well enough that it would practically never fall out of the sheath by accident. The sheath is a little larger than I had hoped, but the belt loop/clip attachment can be removed easily by unscrewing to screws on the back of the sheath making it less bulky. I believe the sheath needs to be redesigned to make this a practical self defense weapon just because of the critical time consuming extra step it takes to re-grip the handle after removing the blade from the sheath. It requires two hands to pull the blade from the sheath and re-grip the blade by inserting to fingers into the respective holes. It would be an amazing challenge to pull this knife with one hand. For the price, I would make this purchase again. No buyers remorse here.

BudK sucks!
Very disappointed with BudK. I got my karambits yesterday and first saw the case had a big crack on it. Then I noticed its only single edge. I searched through many karambits and liked this one because it said double edge on the video. To me there's no point getting a karambit that has a single edge. Clearly that's false advertising. I write to customer service about the issue and there was no apology or anything about the single edge. They didn't even mention it. All they said was that they are sorry for the damage of the case and they're giving me a paid postage sticker to return my item. To me that's to much trouble. I'm not wasting my time with BudK any longer. Don't be fooled by the man in the video saying its double edge because it's not.
Response: Thank you for pointing that out, we apologize for the miscommunication in the video and have taken the video down.

Nice knife but...
I have bought lots of knives from BudK, all of them have been razor sharp right out of the box except for this one. I was quite disappointed because of this. I was able to sharpen it somewhat so that its a decent edge but the curve on the blade also makes for somewhat difficult sharpening.

BEWARE
ok...this was a good knife for the price.looked nice, durable sheath.an it shipped fairly fast!!!...BUT,when i recieved the knife it was so dull as if a butter knife.other than the lack of sharpness it was decent.i personaly am not satisfied because of the fact it wasnt sharp...but to each is own.

Crap
I don't know what the scam is, but these knifes are neither sharp nor hardly have an edge, and they are definitely not double sided. Do some re search before waiting your money.

Worthless
So after playing the amazing game Splinter Cell: Blacklist, I became intensely interested in the karambit knife and realized that I needed one. After searching everywhere for one, I finally landed here at BudK. I had always heard that their prices and knives were amazing, and a buddy of mine said that they had a nice selection of karambits, so I started checking them out, which led me to this specific one. The price was very nice, and it looked pretty awesome, so I ordered it. Now after having it for nearly two weeks, I feel like I got terribly ripped off. I understand that someone will say you get what you pay for, but this is absolutely ridiculous. I have ordered several knives off of Amazon, and all of them came as advertised, and sharp as h**l. To claim this item is double edge is a bold face lie; the top side was terribly dull. And I understand that it's basically illegal to sell something double edged, but don't advertise it as such then. Sharpening this knife is also an absolute nightmare. A buddy of mine sat for nearly two hours, attempting to sharpen this with his whetstone before finally saying screw it; it was a pain just to watch him struggle with sharpening this when I've seen this guy take the crappiest, dullest blade and give it a razor sharp edge. To put this simply, if it wasn't for the scuffs and scratches the blade has earned from countless times trying to sharpen it, I would attempt my best to send it back and get my money back to actually buy a knife that can at least cut through paper, not tear through it like I was using a spoon to cut through the paper. This was my first purchase with BudK, and even though I shouldn't judge them this easily, this may be my last. I feel lied to, and I don't appreciate it. And if I could, I would've given this knife no stars, because that's all it deserves.
