Honshu Fighter Knife - Dagger

Overall, I love this dagger, but I do have an issue with sheath. The guard on the handle is so wide, it interferes with the full insertion of the blade into the sheath and the closure of the snap. In order to get the blade fully inserted and snap it securely, you must bend the heavy belt loop way back, so the cross guard doesn’t get in the way. Then you must really tug on the closure ends to get them around the thick handle so the snap can be engaged. Otherwise, I love this knife and feel you could stab a wild boar with it -no problem.

Hair shaving sharp, grippy grip, full tang and made by Honshu! Whats not to love?

Wasn't sure what to expect having never purchased this brand but it seems fantastic so far (I have a high standard with knives). Solid construction, well balanced, VERY sharp. Engraving also looks good. Very pleased thus far!

This knife make me wish I was still active duty and is a fitting replacement for my old Gerber Mark II a few minutes of working this blade and you want to stick it in someone ! The weight and balance are phenomenal!!

Exceptional dagger-style blade at 1/12th the cost of the Cold Steel Taipan. Sharp in the most intimidating way. I find the handle design a little less grippy than I'd like and the sheath lacks refinement, but both are forgivable for the cost. Good balance when held in saber, quarter saber, full or reverse grips. More damage per stab or slash than the Fairbairn-Sykes British Commando knife. Money well spent.

The best dagger yet! I have a few others in my collection. This has the best edge, ergonomics, and feel. Solid construction. The sheath is well done. One minor glitch, the knife guard made it difficult to push the knife all the way into the sheath. It may be the leather was a bit stiff. Not enough to take away a star.

This knife is 13 3/4 in. overall for those who are curious. On [3rd party site] it says that this knife is 16" but that is not true. Great grip, blade came in tip top shape, and sharp enough to shave. Highly recommended.

Good for both slashing and stabbing (penetrated a slash vest like warm butter). Sturdy enough for heavy abuse and even throwing. Resharpens quickly to a shaving edge with my diamond stones and I highly recommend it regardless of the incredibly low price tag.

I was going to order this knife, but I see budk has recently put a shipping restriction to california. NOWHERE in the california penal code are double edge blades listed, it is not illegal to carry or own a double edge blade in california. I wish they would stop putting false shipping restrictions on their products.

It is a great knive, especially for the asking price, its heavy duty, well balanced, great rubber grip and not to mention razor sharp! I'm no longer a budk non-believer.
