Product Description
Another full-tang masterpiece for the Sooner collection. This 12" bowie offers a pakka wood handle complete with brass guard, pins and pommel. Include genuine leather sheath, which is held closed by a cast State Seal of Oklahoma snap button. 12" overall. 7 1/2" blade. Timber Rattler, TR77
Wasn't razor sharp but i could cut a small tree down with it, a little TLC can change that, the sheath hangs just perfect for when i open carry it, it hangs like I'm in a western movie and its very practical, and it looks great, everyone loves it because its looks and the handle grips just right with the pommel hooking, while looking stylish, easily my coolest knife and i own like 148 knives, for like 20 bucks can't not buy it.

WOW!
Best BudK purchase I've made so far.Quality is well above it's price point I thought the Western Outlaw was good but this is even better! nicer fit to the sheath and the sharpest edge out of the box that I've received yet. I like my big Bowies or machete if I'm going to be clearing a lot of brush or camping but this is perfect for little chores around the property. Get 1 or 2 of these when they are in stock. You won't be disappointment..........unless you're used to getting multi-hundred dollar high cost steel custom knives.

WORTH IT!!!
This knife is a bargain. The one I received has been put through some hard use and stood up admirably. I would recommend this knife any day of the week. Frankly it performs at a level I didn't expect for the price point. It holds an edge well, it batons reasonably, and processes wood like a champ. The only drawback is the sheath, but with a little work you can redeem it. If you are looking for a large knife that will do work then buy this knife!

Love it
Bud K's service was great. I got it a day sooner than expected. Others have said their's wasn't so sharp. Right out of the box, mine shaved the hair from the bacl of my arm. It fit the sheath just fine. The more I handle this knife, the more I love it. Not too small and not too big. It's well balanced and light, so it would make a good self-defense knofe, but it also makes a good utility knife, and it looks great, Time will tell about long term durability, but the product is off to a good start. I'm very pleased.

Good Buy
This is a good knife, maybe a great knife. About the average size you want and quite nice. Mine has a few flaws, some nick at the end of the blade on the edge itself, the stamping has some smoothed patches (although really the stamping doesn't matter) and the handle has some noticeable unevenness with the gold band placement. None of these really impact the use of the knife, of which I think will be quite good. i can't wait to test it out and I might buy some extra if I come across some spare cash as it is really nice.

Best budget bowie!
PROS: quality, looks , hand made unique, balance, toughness almost unbreakable.
CONS: Tiny imperfections because hand made but dosnt reduce quality of the knife. And it comes pretty unsharp but its very easy to sharpen and hold an edge
Its a smaller version of the western outlaw bowie. I ordered 2 and was very impressed. Note these are HAND MADE so every knife is differant. Thats actually what i love about timber rattler.

Liberals are Icky!
The last 4 months of my life have been AWFUL, .. purchasing this was the true bright spot for me. This knife is Beautiful, Solid, Full Tang, Awesome, quite simply the best purchase for the money i've EVER spent from this knife site. And the sheath, i'm not sure what some are talking about dissing on the sheath, but i can tell you they didn't get the same sheath i got. I see NO DIFFERENCE from the sheath i got, from the $10 Case Bowie Sheath for sale. I'd give this 10 ********** stars if i could, i highly recommend it!

Good utilty knife
This knife is actually alot smaller is person, not that it is bad though. It is more of a utility than Bowie but it can still handle all the work of one with the exception of the added weight for cutting. It also is not too big to use for a hunting/skinning knife. Honestly now that I think of it , it is well suited for hog hunting . overall satisfied with the knife but the sheath snap doesn't stay closed sometimes.

Great Deal
I bought this knife a couple years ago and will continue to buy Timber Rattler knives because of it. This knife feels great in the hand and functions like a blade that costs 10 times as much. I showed this knife to a knife shop and they all though it was a $70 knife. Mine arrived with nicks and scratches but for $13, its unbeatable. If your on a budget and want a decent knife, pick up a couple of these.

Denyz
Bought this knife because of good specs. and reviews. Very nice 12" bowie. Was not disappointed. Fit and finish are above average. However the handle is over engineered making it bottom heavy and weighty for a knife this size otherwise excellent. The sheath of course is not worth the effort it took to make it.

What a bowie
I just got this knife today and to say I'm impressed is an understatement. This is one big gorgeous knife and it comes with a real leather knife sheath It's not a perfect knife with no flaws, but it's pretty close to flawless and you can't beat it for the money. How they can sell it for this price and still make a profit is beyond me. The leather sheath has a good snap closure on it that says, "The Great State of Oklahoma" on it. Since there's no mention of that in the ad, I thought I'd let ya'll know. The knife fits perfectly into the sheath and I'm VERY happy with this purchase.

17 TR77
WOW! What a nice knife and sheath for the cost. SS TR77 made in Pakistan. Very smooth handle. I'm going to show a friend the two knifes I just bought (17 TR130 also)and buy him one. I was going to give him the lesser of the two but there is no lesser here. Both are keepers.

Great Little Bowie
A very impressive little bowie. The fit and finish of the knife are excellent. The cutting edge and tip are very sharp. It even matches my Montana Toothpick. I'm very glad that I picked this one up. Highly Recommended!

Timber Rattler 12 Dark Paka bowie
I recently purchased this Bowie and was quite amazed at the outstanding quality. It is the best of my smaller bowie knives. It is worth much more than the 12.99 that BUDK charges. Another hats off to BUDK !!!

Great value!!
I bought this knife out of a collection at an estate sale a good while back before I discovered budk. Once I held it I paid considerably more without blinking and still have no regrets at all as I feel it was well worth it. I normally don't duplicate the knives in my collection but I will most likely do so on this one. At $13 it is an absolute steal...so if you want a well balanced, well made bowie knife steal this one from budk. It's an incredible value.

Good buy.
I ordered this knife as a " throw in" item when I bought several knives, simply because I didn't have this one. This knife is better than I thought it would be,although it's what I classify as a"slab knife"due to its"flat"handle. It's not a five star knife, but it is sturdy and dependable.

Excellent Bowie!
This knife was given to me as a gift, when I saw that this knife was being sold on BUDK, I had to give a review about it. It is an excellent knife that is worthwhile for anyone looking for a good mid size Bowie knife. Its edge is sharp, it's handle is comfortable and the weight isn't too bad either. Although I'm not crazy about the belt-loop the sheath still holds the the knife. As long as you know how to take care of this blade it will serve you well in the outdoors. $12.99 is more than a fair price for this thing.

I like it
This knife is d**n cool. I bought this one not really expecting it to be the one i would use the most, just a fun little extra. I bought the ranch king one as well (i think thats what its called) great knife but in my head i was using man inches and undercompensated for the size lol. Im pretty small 5'7ish and this one fits a lot more comfortably rather then being the size of my forearm and hand lol. I bought them mostly for open carry to scare the living piss out of liberals and this one seemed like less overkill. But back to the knife, definitely cool, nice handle, slight imperfections in the handle, makes it look like someone made it rather then machines pumping them out one by one. I can't tell you how ridged the steel is and how it would hold up against the elements but just looking at it and how it holds an edge over time cutting rope and twine, it seems like a very solid construction. For 13 bucks its definitely a steal. The sheath is crap, but hey what are you buying the sheath or the knife?

not as good as before
I purchased one of these a few years ago and it was great for the price. The one I received today was not as good. The knife itself was decent but the sheath I received wasn't real leather like before, and was about a half an inch too short for the knife. The knife had a decent edge on it but it could be better. Overall for the price its not bad, but don't expect to be able to use the sheath.
