Great sword. i love it. Well worth the price. it comes with a beautiful display box and a cloth bag as well. i bought a wall rack for my swords, but that wouldn't do justice to this sword. i am going to put it on a shelf to display the display box with the sword resting in it. Great quality and nice edges. Well worth the price. no complaints from me. highly recommend it to anyone that wants a fully functional sword for a great price.

Not a Shinwa fan here: This would be a great blade for defense if it had a hard wood handle instead of the course, uncomfortable and unreliable cord wrap, and if the blade was a bit wider and shorter, say 31-33 inches over all length.
The 41 inch length straight sword is too heavy, slow and cumbersome. I would gladly spend 100 plus on a better balanced sword.

Very Well Made And Very Cheap!
This sword was bought by my step brother who is an avid sword and knife collector I showed him BUDK's swords and this was the nicest sword within his price range upon receiving the sword we found it was in a very beautiful and ornate wooden box and had a cloth that covered the whole sword and sheath this was great because we both have a little sister who we do not want getting in to this after we removed the sword from the sheath we were shocked at how beautiful and sharp the blade was the scabbard was also nice and the sword fits into it tight, a little too tight but after removing it and resheathing it, it can now be removed no problem the little handle on the wooden box broke but was easily fixed with superglue anyways if you need a battle ready sword or just want a nice decorative sword this is defiantly the sword for you very pleased and looking forward to ordering the White Knight Damascus Sword for myself as a birthday present thanks BUDK!

Nice for the price
The double edge and damascus patterns on this one are beautiful. I don't see how the chinese do it so nicely and inexpensive. Although not truly a full tang, the sword is farley well balanced, quiet strong and feels good in the hand. The display box I got with mine was made for a traditionally curved katana, so the straight dragon lord doesn't fit properly in the display box. I modified my display boxes styrofoam mold to accommodate the straight dragon lord and it fits better and is more secure now. I also noticed the kashira or butt cap on my dragon lord is upside down in relation to the picture on the tsuba and rest of the themed pictured story on the sword. This most likely was a mistake in manufacturing but, doesn't bother me. I love this one for the price and what you get.

pretty good
well im her husband lol js.. I got this beautiful peace of art, when I did my tests it mostly was successful. I got cleanly through milk jugs, bottles, ex. But unfortunately the Damascus well, it is just a coating over the blade. I struck a peace of wood to see if there was any sort of warping, and it held strong, but the blade did have a bit of scratches over the surface that showed me it wasn't true Damascus. disappointment of course but I am very happy with the easy buy. if you're looking for a battle ready sward make sure its 1060 carbon, or true Damascus. thank you
