Product Description
This Medieval Broad Sword is crafted after a legendary weapon of the past and will make a fine addition to your historical collection! This sword features a stainless steel 17" traditional pattern blade. The cast metal handle offers an ornate guard and pommel along with a brown composite grip.
I got the sword and despite the size it is pretty. Except the damaged hilt I got. The cross on one said has been hammered in too far and is bent and sideways. There are hammer dents and scratches all around it. Makes the looks go way down. Disapointed me

not bad
At first I was very disappointed with the size. When they said broad sword that's what I thought I was getting. But that is my own fault for not reading the description carefully. In spite of its size it is a very well built sword.I am very proud to have it in my collection

Perfect
A wonderful product as usual from BUDK!!! I use this as a ceremonial sword but it is sharp and very functional, too!

small but cool
this sword was a lot smaller than what i had pictured but it has a great feel to it. When i had a friend come over, he said it looked like a hobbit sword. definitely for display.

Great Short Sword
I loved this sword when I got it. It is good for a short sword. But then, I made the mistake of letting my friends playing with it and my Robin Hood dagger. They chipped the blades and the short sword is all wobbly and looks like it's going to fall apart. I'd recommend buying this sword, but if you get it, NEVER let ANYONE mess with it.

Well for 25 bucks it isnt bad, my wife likes Medieval type weapons so as long as she is happy then all is good. For me I was a tad disapointed in the blade.

1 there is a tacky made in china along the blade.
2 composite = cheap wood grained plastic.
3 the size of the item. Some how I was expecting something larger.

All in all you get what you pay for and my wife is happy so I guess your still in good graces with me.

Check the size
I blame myself for this one, I did not check the size of the sword and when it arrived, it was about the length of my forearm. Good sword overall, though it is really more like a long dagger.

could have been worse
well i usually read the descriptions better but when i saw it said "Giant" i thought it would at least be the normal size of a broad sword. but other than the misunderstanding, it is a small blade with a slight edge. the handle comes loose a bit if you handle it enough but it hasnt fallen apart on me. it does seem to have a spot to tighten it back. my sister is going to use it for a Renaissance festival so it worked out in the end

I got this for Christmas a few years ago and was disappointed by the size and though it's the right size for mybrother, it's much to small for me.
However if you plan on hanging it on the wall it's good.

looks good... but it broke
it was a nice sword but i notised there was no edge on it. so after sharpening it, i pulled out some old water bottles to cut up. on the first swing the blade broke off and flew twelve feet to my right. inside the handle the blade is welded to a tiny medal pole about 1/4 in. So as a combat sword... not worth the $$. but if your just buying for looks, its a good buy.
