Great knife
Sheath didn't arrive with the knife, sheath sent fit, but wasn't the sheath advertised with the picture. Overall, I am VERY happy with the knife itself.

Know What To Expect
Thank God for reviews , Right !?!?
If I paid $20 for this back before Reviews were thought of - I would of returned in a second .
But since I knew what I was getting into , I figure “ Why the heck not “!?!?
I doubt I will ever use this . I am an avid knife collector with all sorts of blades ( Mostly Bowie knives ).
My favorite part of this knife was showing my daughters boyfriend ( who knows absolutely nothing about knives ).
Well his jaw dropped when I showed him this monster !!
I also showed him a $200 10” Overall Bowie and he thought that the “ Big Foot “ was worth more . ( so what’s that tell you )......
Definitely a fun knife for show and tell kids ( yeah - don’t take to school please ).
I was a little mad at the sheath though .
I think I would rather it came without one .
They call this leather ???? More like tanned cardboard !!
But I already expected that from reviews .
Overall ??? Pretty well satisfied. 5 Star Knife cause I knew what I was buying . Hope this helps .

Love it or hate it !
I love it ! This a big, bad, boy ! I got this to wear with my Mountain Man gear . It fits perfect. Any Mountain Man would trade a few good horss for it and many beaver pelts too. I bought two just in case I lose one fightin like Jeramia Johnson !

Awesome!!
This knife is absolutely awesome. I collect knives and this knife is well made and is huge. Could be a little sharper but that is easy to fix. Well worth the money. Will buy another one.

Big Foot Bowie Knife
This knife is the biggest I have seen! With a 12 inch blade this thing is Massive! You could strap this knife to the front of a Volkswagen, and go Elephant hunting! Love this knife! Buy it.

Bigfoot Bowie
This is one BIG knife, and for the price, you can't beat it. I purchased mine because of the similarity to the knife used in the movie "Predator" at a much lower cost and wasn't disappointed in the least. For this amount of steel, it's one step up from being a give-away jumps out of any bowie collection.

The biggest d*** knife I've ever seen!!!!
I really didn't pay any mind to the size when I ordered this knife and was absolutely shocked when it arrived. It has got to be the biggest knife I have ever owned, It's sharp and beautiful. It's outlawed in the state of Oklahoma but only if you carry it on your person. It's beautiful and I love it. Recommend it to anyone over any big knife I've every seen.

bigfoot bowie
Big, bad, rude and crude. Loses no face riding side by side with the Rambo 3. Sheath smells like a newly fallen animal, handle doubles as a hammer, a BIG hammer. Pulls out of the sheath with a ring, like a sword. Blade thru handle has a nice balance. Get a BIG belt for riding this one around. Or your pants are gonna be around your ankles. And DON'T walk around in public with this mother swinging from your hip. It's an attention-getter. Love it. Would have paid three/four times more for it. It's a mammoth.

A MONSTER OF A BLADE
Buy this. When I got this online I knew it was gonna be big but this is almost a short board sword! It’s huge I got this for my brothers first camping trip as it seemed like a good hard working blade that could take some abuse and after seeing it I’m getting 2 for myself as I figured 1 is great but you know what’s better then one giant blade ... that’s right 2 of them!!! Also all the reviews are correct the sheath is trash but if your buying this for the sheath then this is not the blade for you. The sheath does work it’s just made from poor materiel and I honestly think that if it gets wet it might just fall apart but the awesomeness of this blade outweighs the crap sheath making this one hell of a deal.

"A GOOD KNIFE WHEN YOU DON""T WANT TO RUIN A GOOD KNIFE"
This is a cheap third world knife that is heavy constructed but of poor quality, the stainless blade has a clear coat to keep it from rusting the sheath is almost worthless mine has the flying eagle stamped upside down. I made my own sheath and by the way the finger grooves are set very wide. I wear an XL glove and my fingers don't fit the finger grooves, it is like I'm a little kid playing with my dad's knife. I took my knife to my grinding wheel and ground the finger grooves off and sanded the handle nice and smooth to the full tang and oiled the grip scales. Now it is like I said a good knife for when you don't want to ruin a good knife.

Bigfoot Bowie
NICE BIG KNIFE! The quality of the knife is pretty good, I like the weight. The only think I was not pleased with, was the quality of the sheath, but with such a good price, I think I can just get a better sheath made for it.

bigfoot bowie
well i got mine today and i'm happy with it but the only things i'm not really happy about are the blade thickness and the handle the handle is just uncomfortable but i'm gunna sand it down and the bolster was a little loose but the balance and full tang are gunna help with it being a camp and trail knife.
kc delorge Aug 28, 2010 (4 out of 5)
good knife
awesome large knife my handle wasn't quite flush with the tang but overall a great knife but the sheath was horrible i'm gonna look for someone to make me a good one but that is the only downside so four stars

poor catalog picture
The picture was misleading. It appeared to have a brass reinforcement bar across the top. It doesn't. It is a beveled edge that actually makes it weaker instead of reinforceing it. It is certainly not a Bowie; more of a machete. Realizing that, it is a pretty good machete. I cut off the small limbs on my Crepe Myrtle tree and it did excellent. Just wish they'd sell the one I saw in the picture for this price.

Love it and Hate it
I love the blade design and the massive size as I intend to use it as a camp/trail knife. As others have mentioned it is surprising when pulling it out of the box for the first time. It looks big in the picture, but d**n...it's even bigger in person. It probably qualifies as a small machete more than a big knife due to the width of the blade, but it will work great for my particular intended purpose. What I didn't like was the blade thickness was minimal for such a massive knife. I would have preferred twice the thickness and would gladly pay more to have it because I like the design so much (hint, hint). Also, the fit and finish is probably the worst I have seen on a knife, like a 2 year old put it together. The wooden handle is not flush with the blade guard, the brass and blade are scuffed...etc. This only bothers me from the perspective of it being a brand new knife (yeah, I expect better in new knife but Pakistani knives are hit or miss....I keep missing), but doesn't bother me in the end due to this knife being put to work and will only end up looking banged up sooner or later anyway. In comparison to the Timber Rattler Outlaw Bowie.....also a huge knife: for being in the same class as far as size and price goes the Timber Rattler is FAR superior in quality, fit/finish and weight with a 1/4" thick blade....it's heavy, sturdy and I'm not afraid to abuse it because I trust it can take it....not so sure about the Bigfoot, but I like it anyways.

D***..
When I ordered this, I had no idea how much metal was in this thing. I have several other bowie knives, but this one is by far the largest, more like a machete. Can't be used for the more simple things when camping. I like this "knife" alright, but many people who buy this are probably more surprised then happy when they see it, not realizing they just ordered a slap of sharp metal. Editor's Note: Thank you for your comments. We have updated the review to reflect the appropriate materials.

It's a machete!
I guess I can't question the value. For $18, you get a large, heavy blade that takes a nice edge. It's stainless, so it's not going to require much upkeep. I'm mostly disappointed because the hilt on mine is loose and rattles easily when you shake it. Also, the sheath is pretty awful. The leather is paper thin. On the other hand, it's very serviceable and only cost &18 plus shipping.

YUCK
I'm not sure this should even be called a Bowie, it's more like a mini-machete, and a poorly designed one at that. The finger grooved handle is full tang, but the grip is really bad as the fingering is not a good fit for any hand. The blade is neither good for slicing or chopping as the weight is to the rear and the drop point is useless,,,the Timber Rattler Western Outlaw Bowie Knife is a much, much better buy at the same price....!

Cheap
This knife is freakin cheap. It looks like its been used before and they just sold me that one. Very disappointed ive gotten other things from budK and none were this cheap. The blade was far to thin for how long the blade is, I dont have the biggest hands but the handle was uncomfortable and and very poorly detailed. The sheath looked like it had paint spilled on it. Its a POS dont id give it a zero if I could. Get this knife instead Timber Rattler Western Outlaw Bowie Knife.
