I like the different knives I get. I would like more type of knives you could carry on a every day basis. Seems all I've been getting is different kinds of bowie type.

I have been an avid knife collector starting when I was 12 years old and am now 70. I have a large collection and this new club is just what I have been looking for. This first folder is different but I like it and the way it is made. I hope to increase my collectibles with this program.

The knives offered from this have varied, and to date I've loved them all. Best subscription service.

I have almost always gotten great knives, in fact some of the knives I have gotten from here cost 35, 40+ bucks and are of pretty good quality. Just be warned that after a while it raises from 10 dollars to 20. Until some financial issues lately that forced me to cancel, I had been getting it for over a yr.

Its so good not only do I want to keep the $9.99 deal but also upgrade to the $24.99 Knife of the month deal!! Please respond.

I was kind of skeptical about the quality of a 9.99 knife but decided to try it. I have been a member over a year now. Every knife has been a better value than the price even if I didn't care for a couple of them. They made good gifts to others who loved them. I have been completely satisfied with this KOTM club and plan on trying one the other month clubs when I am a little more flush. An excellent value.

I've been participating in the knife of the month for about a year. I have always gotten my moneys worth even if I wasn't too thrilled with the knife, but this is a mystery deal and its part of the fun. My absolute favorites that have blown me away were my first knife was a bushmaster saw back machete with accompanying folder and this months which was a nice SOA Zulu fighter. I got my first karambit knife which i wasn't too pleased with at first but came to love it and buy another of the exact same one. I've gotten a dull K-bar that needed to be worked into a usable blade. I've mostly gotten folders that I have put to good use, with that being said last month was a bummer. A very small folder, couldn't really cut through the thick rope or raw hide I'm use to cutting but it did make a nice exacto knife and letter opener when I needed it. I've only been disappointed once and that was a small fixed blade I found on other sights at buy one get one for $10. With that being said my first knife and this months knife are both $30 and BudK sells the latest one for $29. For the price you can't go wrong, Ive found a use for each knife and one ( a Japanese inspired folder) wasn't my style but made a great gift. I highly recommend this product. I'm a knife enthusiast and outdoors man but if your just starting and want to have a nice collection and learn about the different types of knives the Knife of the Month is a good place to start.

Only on my second knife but the first was a folder that i now carry and the next is a fixed blade which will be going to my brother since he drooled when i showed him the picture..first knife was on price point but the second was way above..Gonna keep going until my wife threatens me with divorce for too many edged weapons..

I have to admit that I was somewhat apprehensive about this. I was a bit worried that this would be a venue for BudK to bleed off the knives that no one wanted, that they had laying around the warehouse. I've kept this subscription for the best part of a year and I have to say that some pretty cool knives have come my way.

Recently purchased / joined the knife of the month club. Absolutley no regrets so far. My first knife was a very nice shinwa which my brother loved so much I gave to him. Very good quality on the knife. My second was a knife I had actually recently looked at for purchase, I ended up going with a different one because it was B.O.G.O. that day, I can honestly say I made a mistake, the knife I originally looked at and was sent was a lot better. I dont foresee having an inadequate knife shipped to me. Even if I dont really care for it, they're all great deals. Have actually been thinking about upgrading to the elite club of the month

I only received two knifes so far and really enjoy the knifes do far. You get nice knifes.

I got a subscription for each of my son's for Christmas, and it has been , by far the best gift I could have hoped for. Even though they are all grown up and on their own, they all come together to open them each month. So far each of the knives have far exceeded the cost of the club. It is wonderful seeing those grown men turn back into my little boys, tearing open the packaging to see what is inside. A definite A+

I have been collecting for a while now. Other sites do not have a subscription with monthly knives of this quality with this kind of "cool factor" or originality. I have had 3 knives so far and all 3 of them have been excellent condition and a real steal of a deal. Very satisfied.

I like getting a knife I didn't pick each month, it's almost like Christmas! Some knives that I probably wouldn't have chosen, but really liked anyway. I wasn''t real happy with this month's blade, but there was nothing wrong with it and who knows, I may come to like it over time, shrug. So far every knife I have gotten was worth well more than I paid!

So far so good. Two months in and two solid folders to add to the collection. I'm hoping to see a fixed blade every now and then. If you or someone you love likes sharp pointy things, I would recommend this subscription, the ones you don't love, you can give as gifts.

Like getting a birthday present every month. The knives that I have gotten are ones that I would not have bought if I had to order them. All have been nice, and value in excess of the cost. I am glad that I signed up.

So far this has been awesome. In 5 months now & have some great knives. Only had one so far that wasn't my cup of tea but gave it as a gift to my son who's stationed away from home & he loved it. I have been a Knife of the month member for 7 months. Everyone has been great. I have used them for gifts throughout my family. The 2 USMC ones went to my nephew who is a Marine. They are both accompanying him on his up coming deployment.

I really enjoy this so far. Each knife (or set) has been unique and well worth the $9.99!

I have been a member for almost 2 yrs, and just love getting a new knife (or sometimes more) in the mail every month. Some knives are more for show, but most are at least solid and usable. Every knife has been well worth the $10 and would recommend this subscription to anyone who likes knives.

You can't expect collectors quality knifes for $10.00, I just enjoy receiving a surprise in the mail each month. It usually comes when least expected.

So far it's not an impressive start where I got the tin set up like I have gotten from the shtf package I used to get.... Goin to stay with it but I hope there is blades that can be used as well besides just show.....

I have to admit that I was pleasantly surprised by the knives that I have received so far. I half expected to receive knives that BudK was having trouble selling, knives that nobody wanted. Most of the knives have been pretty cool. There were a couple that were not favorites with me, but that can be put down more to my personal aesthetics than the quality of the knife.

I'm only 3 months in and I've already gotten 6 knives! 2 of which were bug hunting knives! I love it so much worth every penny!

I signed up and my first order was shipped out the next day. I got 3 very nice, heavy folding knives that were coincidentally on the cover of the catalog that accompanied the knives. Got my first knife of the month today. At first I thought there was a mistake as there were three knives in the box along with a Ridge Runner I purchased separately. When I opened the boxes I realized what I was sent for my first month was a set of three knives valued on the website at 19.99, double the 9.99 the monthly charge is. Needless to say I am very pleased with this purchase! Highly recommended!

For my second knife I just got the Combat Commander Gladius dagger which I am thrilled with! Worth way more then the price especially in my opinion and is listed for twice the price of the subscription

I joined the $10 a month knife club about a half a month ago and the first knife they sent me was the "USMC Desert Warrior Assisted Opening Pocket Knife with Stonewashed Blade" which they sell for $15 so I got my money's worth plus I feel like this knife is worth even more than $15. It's a heavy, durable, razor sharp knife. Can't wait to see what I get for the next knife!

I’ve gotten several of these. $9.99+$7.99 shipping. They have all been great knives. So yes I would recommend. I’ve also have tried the $19.99+$7.99 shipping. So fare they have been good as well. Although with those they have all been Bowie’s. So now I’m trying the the $49.99+$7.99 shipping knife club. So hoping that they will not send me another Bowie in this one. We will see. I’m only giving 4 star due to made in China. Would be nice to see made in the USA.

Over all I am very pleased with the Kotm subscription. The only thing is don't expect to get the knives that are shown in the advertisement. The knives I have gotten are all great and also at least as valuable and mostly more valuable than if you tried to buy them separately. So if you like collecting knives, or even if you need some nice gifts for nephews or whatnot you could do a lot worse for $10.

I have only received three knives so far with this subscription. Two of the three were really nice knives. The other one was also a nice knife, but some of the handled appeared to be glued rubber and fell off during shipping. The price of $9.99 per knife seems comparable or maybe slightly higher than if they were purchased at a gun and knife show, but I do like the idea of receiving a surprise each month in the mail.

I've gotten three knives so far. They have all been worth about the amount you pay for the subscription. Not as nice as the add picture shows. I still like it for the monthly "pleasant surprise" factor.

I've loved every single one of my boxes but December was a little bit of a disappointment

Just got my first knife today, USMC fixed blade, obviously a cheaper knock-off of a Ka- bar, I probably wouldn't ever pay more then 10-15 bucks for a knock off kabar but it's at least Worth the $10 Buck subscription cost. As with most United Cutlery fixed blades it's not full tang is not heavy duty but will serve well for light to moderate tasks but would not trust my life to it or any united cutlery blade for that matter. That all being said so far the subscription is worth the money. We'll see how the next few blades are...all and all worth the $10 a month so far
