Hardwood Escrima Fighting Stick - BOGO

I've trained in Kali/Escrima for several years and I bought these so I could make padded sparring sticks. I slid a foam pipe insulator over each stick and then wrapped the whole thing in tape and they work well for that purpose. I urge you not to use these for training with stick to stick contact. Hardwood sticks will eventually crack and splinter and worst case scenario, several inches of the stock could break off and hit your training partner. That's why we use sticks made of rattan. So overall, these sticks are cool looking and they work well for solo training or for wrapping in foam like I did and they're a good value so I recommend them for certain use cases.

I didn’t expect much for the price. After months of training with bag contact they have proven to be acceptable. Light weight and with ridges for grip, they are able to be used even when sweat drenched. Well worth the $money.
