If you're considering buying this scimitar hesitate no more. Buy it! This just arrived and close inspection reveals a heavy weapon well made. This is not a blade for children. The handle is large and solid, the blade sharp and it can do some serious damage. It also looks great and will be on display. So glad I purchased one.

Sturdy. Heavy. Well balanced. Fits hand well. It is just insane! Fairly sharp. Well made. Swings as an extension of your hand. Great grip. The sheath... not perfect, but not the worst.

This is not a toy! The blade is fully sharpened, tempered, and full tang. The handle is metal with a dark wood. The sheath is nylon with a strap, and has a zipper to unsheathe the blade. The looks are stunning, and give it an authentic look.

This is a must have! Wow it"s beautiful, nice weight. Simply wow!

This is the first sword I bought from BudK, and I love this website. The sword is fantastic. Came nicely packaged, in a timely fashion. The blade was relatively sharp; enough that I could cut something if I tried, but not so sharp that I've injured myself yet. Sheath is pretty adequate, but I'm happy with it. The sword was shorter than I expected, but that's because I didn't look at the size before I ordered it. Overall, very happy, and already ordered my next few swords

This was a much more solid package than I had expected. This is a very study sword. The fit and finish or the grip is incredibly tight. you really have to look hard to find a flaw with it. The sheath is a beautiful nylon sheath, custom zipper and very sturdy. They really didn't slouch on this sword in any way. Another thing to note is that it is sharp. Unbelievably sharp. You could probably shave with this thing out of the box and the point is so solid you could easily run somebody through with this thing should that particular occasion arise. This was the first piece that I've purchased from BUDK, but it certainly won't be my last. Recommend this highly. It's not a disappointment. It delivers on its looks.

Upon pondering between the Sands Scimitar and the Death Reaper Chaos from another site, the Scimitar looked sleeker and a little more destructive so I bought two of them thinking I would clean them up and sell them, but when I pulled them out of the box it was not what I expecting. It didn't take long after holding and swinging them that I felt like a warrior. I'm keeping these bad mambajamas! Sharper than some of my 1060 and 1095 steel! Perfect balance, the handle is solid and feels amazing! You can slash like a katana, figure 8 like broadsword , chop like an ax and stab like a Rapier and slice like a razor! Ready to dish out some woop ass! Thank you to Budk Gods for telling me to get two, you never let me down!

I bought this sword to go with a homemade armor statue I am creating and loved it!!! For 26.99 it is well worth the money. I understand some guys like to chop wood for fun and think the sword can’t handle that; well their right. A sword is either for decoration or chopping people, not trees, lol. Awesome I mean extremely awesome. Me and my friends launched a watermelon 50 yards at me and sliced it right down the middle. Fun and extremely sharp cut my self by accident since I thought it was dull but one of the best things that I have got from BUDK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

just got the sword .. love it smaller than i expected worth all of 30 dollars then some.. love the hilt wood gain super sharp the sheath had a hole in it but i didnt buy it for the sheath all in all great buy i wouldent recommend useing it because the tip would break because of the way it was sharpend

Gorgeous display sword. It even came with an edge on it, which is not something I always encounter with stainless steel swords. The blade is lighter than I expected and the construction is fantastic. I would avoid using this weapon for combat because it is a display sword, but the solid construction makes it a great "last resort" weapon, plus it makes a great display piece.

You know ... I've had this sword for over a month now, and I just can't leave it alone! This has got to be one of the nicest, easiest handling swords I've ever held. It came to me very sharp, but with a little burr right on the tip. I took my file to that burr, and now there's no snag when I pull it cleanly from the nylon sheath that accompanies it! Smoothly, and quickly out. I'm so high on this sword, I'm going to buy another! Thanks again BudK, for a great blade at a great price!

Just got this sword today and I have to say WOW! for the price it is quite the piece. It being full tang and fairly sharp on the sides and VERY sharp on the point! Definitely have no complaints about this product!

I am very impressed with this blade. Was sharp and clean upon arrival and nothing was out of place, wobbly, or broken. Balance feels great and it's sturdy enough that I'd be comfortable actually using it for defense. Lord have mercy on anyone planning on robbing my home. If anything I would wish for a little more length on the blade. But I read the given dimensions so I ordered it knowing it was a shorter sword. But still a great buy.

I got this and another item in a bundle order, which surprised me greatly. This sword was in perfect condition. Not a thing felt loose, and the sword in itself is very sturdy. The tip of this blade was surprisingly sharp, and I even nicked myself trying to adjust the tip cover. It has a good overall edge, feels great when held in the hand thanks to the smooth and well shaped handle, and is an MUST-HAVE for any collector. I'd go higher than five, but I can't unfortunately.

I just got my Arabian Sands Scimitar Sword , and I must say, this may be the most awesome and deadly fighting blade on the BudK site....! The blade comes sharp, it's well balanced, light weight over all, but heavy on the sweet cutting spot. The handle is VERY well made..!,,, Looks to be full tang with super nice wood integrated into the grip. The guard is solid and strong, the blade has a long point backed up by a serious machete style curved blade. I would highly recommend the sword by itself, and would give it 5 stars except that the sheath it comes with is total garbage. Flimsy nylon, only good for covering the blade while transporting. If they would have offered a quality leather sheath for say 10 or 15 dollars more, this sword would go epic....! I would gladly spend $39.95 for this sword with a good leather sheath.

sturdy and just what i ordered

I just got this sword today and I love it. The only thing wrong is that some of the black pieces in the handle on mine were not attached. Other than that this is a great sword.
