When i ordered this knife, i was expecting a cool, but small knife. Boy was i unprepared! This thing is a beast, it has a great rubber handle for a great grip. Whenever i show this massive blade to someone, their eyes widen. This knife is amazing and i would recommend it to any knife collector. Thanks BudK for the amazing deal and quality.

This knife is wonderful!! I have never had to use it for anything but I bought for I may need on standby. It is lightweight and easy to handle. Honestly I can't believe this knife is only $20. I love it, I am actually here to buy another one just to have. The quality is great, the design is wicked and the weight/handle just feel great in your hand.

If someone comes at you while this is in your hand they must be either stupid, crazy or a zombie! Mine came fairly sharp and the serrations extremely sharp, and the point is wicked! The rubber handle provides a firm grip and the guard keeps your hand safe. Strong and well balanced, and looks quite intimidating. Use or display, it's got it all. Once again BUDK offers an awesome knife at a great price!

Just received mine in the mail, let me tell you. I am totally satisfied good weight sturdy build the serrated edge is crazy sharp the point is like a needle. The slicing edge while not dull could be sharper for my standards. At first I was concerned about the sheath being left handed as opposed to being right handed. But it makes sense its meant to be a secondary weapon on your weak hand side. With your strong side reserved for your sidearm. Yeah I'll be ordering more stuff from budk.

This knife is great. Its blade and serrated part came extremely sharp out of the box. And not to mention its tip. The tip is extremely pointy and I could not imagine what it would be like to be stabbed with this knife. Especially with its reversed gut or sawed part at the top of the knife would really mess you up in the inside. Not all knifes are meant to be lethal, but this one is. And this as a lethal knife would do the job. A perfection I have in my possession for a great price too.

This was the first knife I bought from Budk and I'm VERY satisfied. Knife is very well made, well balanced all around bad ass looking. For the price, you won't find better value anywhere. It's was sharp enough out of the box, but could use a touch with a stone. One thing I would liked to have seen would be a gromit in the bottom of the sheath, to tie around the leg. The Anything Anytime Anywhere Recon Bowie is a knife anyone would be proud to have in their collection.

I'm Not Sure Why People Say It wasint Sharp Because Mine was. I Tested it Out On The Box and a Few Sticks It Was Perfectly Sharp

When I saw the knife in the catalogue I knew I ha to have it. Did not disappointed me. It is great. After sharpen it without any effort is a deadly as the best knife in the market. The price was awesome as well.

My new favorite bowie. This thing is a monster though. It really is a whole heck of a lot bigger than I thought it would be. Plus, even though it's highly unlikely that someone would even attempt to raid my apartment, it's a nice knife to have for home defense. If someone isn't scared away by the sheer look of the blade, it is tough enough to get your point across. No pun intended. A must-have for any paranoid homeowner or just someone who loves the look and feel of a well-built, purpose-driven blade.

All I could say when I first took this knife out of the box was holly crap!! This thing looks so tough. It looks like if you were attacked by a bear and you stabbed him with it you would have a couple thousand pounds of meat to figure out what to do with. Lol. It looks deadly. I absolutely love it!!

After reading many reviews and watching several videos on this Bowie, I can easily say I was not mislead. Extremely large and sturdy knife. The handle is extremely comfortable. The knife came razor sharp and it was only $20. Very satisfied. Don't hesitate to buy one!

this is a nice knife for $20. It isn't full tang and I am not a fan of the sheath. The steal is good,my knife was sharp but I take it that might not always be the case. This knife is first a fighting knife, but also has a lot of other feature for survival. You can thrust,slice and hack good with this. I made a 5" thrust into my dummy, you can ad 2" for an actual human. The tip will break if you use it to pry with, it isn't a k-bar. This chops nice to, but when chopping move one notch down on the grip for more power. It isn't the greatest knife but it might be the greatest value for a knife. If used for what it was designed for this will be one great knife to have, glad I bought it.

This knife is awesome. the edge was pretty sharp out of the box but after I sharpened it, the knife became TERRIFYING. the saw blade is razor sharp and the teeth feel like you can cut through steel. Just holding this monster scares the hell out of me. The only problem I have is the same as Ben Barkley does with the sheath but it really isn't a big deal. Overall I absolutely recommend buying this knife.

As a collector, I look for beauty as well as functionality - this blade has both, in spades. This will go with me when I go bow hunting in 8 days. When I get my game, I will use this to dispatch the game humanely. it will also serve to help me get through the brush. regarding the comment about the point breaking off during a fight, as long as the point is left in the body of the enemy, I don't see a problem.

A nice multi-purpose bowie indeed. Anytime, anywhere is a pretty accurate description for what you can do with this knife. I just received mine and it needed to be sharpened a little, but nothing to whine about. I am however impressed with the weight and solidity of this knife. That 's definitely something I look for in a Bowie. Also the two saws are amazing. The smaller saw I can use to saw at nails or use for aluminum cans. The larger saw I could use on larger volumes of aluminum in a survival situation which would actually be very convenient. I have tested both of those theories and it works very well. The smooth part of the blade its self is so sturdy you can use it to hack wood without having to use the batoning technique. It could also be good to skin large game or even useful for filleting fish. It doesn't however have a hammer butt and honestly that's the only thing negative that I have to say about it. I'm amazed that budk is selling such a decent knife at a low price. I honestly wasn't expecting it to be anything special. I wouldn't suggest using this knife in a combat scenario unless you absolutely had to, because it would be cumbersome because of its size and weight. It would probably do you more harm than good, and Tanto knives are better for that in my opinion. On the other hand, I will definitely be taking this knife camping, because it will prove very useful.

Well, it's a big, scary, knife! It came razor sharp and its ridges are pointed to shred and gut. It's high quality gets it 5/5 from me.

APPARENTLY THERE IS SOME INCONSISTENCY IN THE SHARPNESS OF THE BLADE COMING OUT OF THE BOX. SOME REVIEWS SAY VERY SHARP WHILE OTHER REVIEWS SAY NOT SO SHARP. MY KNIFE FITS THE NOT SO SHARP GROUP. STILL, ONE MEAN LOOKING KNIFE AND I'M IMPRESSED AS ARE THOSE THAT I SHOW IT TOO!! WOULD RECOMMEND IT!!!

Awesome bowie for the price but I'm telling you right now i wouldn't depend my life on 20 dollars the hand guard was extremely lose i had to gorilla glue it and chip of the extra glue but now its as sturdy as a rock it chops good and it slips while your chopping and hand guard cuts your thumb if you hit to hard but you can smack stab chop and it won't break on you its not full tang but it almost is not sharp at all and black coat chips very easy

Really nice knife as everyone has stated. The price is for the knife not the sheath. Forget the sheath, doesn't fit the knife. AND it is left handed, so totally useless for the majority of people. I didn't expect anything flashy but this sheath is trash, total garbage.

This knife is good considering its only $20. It's made in china and the steel is not the best but that's to be expected. This knife is great if you don't want to worry about it's condition as you hack and chop with reckless abandon. Oh and Mike from Camas, this knife probably isn't the best for killing anything "humanely" because of the saw back and serrations.

The knife is excellent, great quality except for the sheath. I was wearing it through some brush while hunting and next thing I know, no knife. I hunted for it for 2.5 hours. I would buy another one, but only if they greatly improve the sheath...period!

Just got mine in. I had found it via Amazon. The knife is light weight, and came sharp. But, here is my issue, the sheath is for the left hip....no where in the description does it inform you of right/left side for the sheath. So, I plan on returning it. Otherwise it seems to be a good knife. 1st time experience with this company. By the way, I was in the Corps, and I never saw any Marine with a knife this long, not even the Recon Marines that I worked with for about a year. No, I am not a Recon Marine, but infantry.

I got this knife in the mail the other day and I'm not sure if it was a mess up or what but the blade it dull as hell. it cant even cut paper no matter how hard I try. If I sat down for hours to sharpen it I'm sure I could, but the blade is extremely thick and would take forever. I tried to sharpen it with my smith's diamond stone, and even an electric sharpener but it just wasn't having it. The blade is good, strong steel, but like I said it would have been nice if it was sharp. It looks amazing and feels really good to hold, but for now I think it will be on my shelf for looks
