What’s A Neck Knife?
A neck knife is not only a discreet self-defense weapon but also puts a tool within easy reach for simple cutting tasks. These mini fixed blades come in a variety of sizes with a variety of blade profiles and types of neck lanyards. They are well-suited for tactical missions and for outdoor activities like hunting and camping. Here are the top five neck knives in our inventory.
Tactical Warrior Tanto Neck Knife
With its skeletonized handle and slotted blade, the Tactical Warrior Tanto Neck Knife, is so light you’ll barely feel it hanging around your neck. The tanto blade is full-tang AUS-6 stainless steel and handle is tough ABS. The compact fixed blade is completely non-reflective and features finger-jimping on the handle to assist in securing your grip. It snaps firmly into its impact-resistant, TPU sheath, which has a nylon neck cord.
Black Legion Spearhead Neck Knife
A less than 5” overall, the Black Legion Spearhead Neck Knife is one of the smallest on this list but it’s built with incredible capability. This is my favorite because it feels good and solid in your hand. The neck knife is one solid piece of stainless steel with a stonewashed finish. The spearpoint blade is double-edged and the handle is wrapped in paracord, which extends into a tail from the lanyard hole. This mini fixed blade also snaps securely into a TPU sheath, which features lashing holes and a metal ball and chain neck lanyard.
CRKT Folts Keramin Knife
A favorite of self-defense experts, the CRKT Folts Keramin Knife was nothing like anything I’d ever seen before. It really is designed perfectly for self-defense since the infused resin handle has three finger choils, allowing the knife to literally become part of your hand. Then, the blade has jimping for thumb placement. The karambit-style, curved blade is made of 5Cr15MoV stainless steel, and it goes down to a penetrating point. The full-tang, razor-sharp blade is just under 3” overall and it has a hollow ground edge. The fitted polypropylene sheath holds the neck knife securely and it features lashing holes and an adjustable, black cord neck lanyard. A detachable belt clip is also included with the sheath.
Black Legion Ninja Warrior Karambit Neck Knife
A karambit knife is an exceptional slicing and piercing tool and Black Legion’s Ninja Warrior Karambit Neck Knife gives you that power in a compact package. It has the traditional sharp curved blade and open-ring pommel, both in discreet, non-reflective black. The blade is stainless steel, and the handle is textured and finger-grooved TPR. The handle also features jimping and the stainless steel open-ring pommel has a point. The TPU sheath snaps securely onto the blade and the neck lanyard is attached.
