The Meaning Behind A King’s Sword
A King’s Sword is a symbol of the greatness of his reign, based on its opulence, and a symbol of his royal and divine power and authority. It was used to knight warriors with a touch on each shoulder and a kiss on its blade by a subject of the realm sealed an oath that he had made. Sometimes, the king’s sword was handed-down from generation-to-generation or either buried with its owner. I’ve put together a list of swords that we have that are fit for a king!
Legends In Steel King Arthur’s Excalibur Sword
I’ll start with one of the most legendary, mythological swords in history. The Legends In Steel King Arthur’s Excalibur Sword is an impressive recreation of the kingmaking weapon of popular legend. It has a 31” mirror-polished, stainless steel blade that features laser-etched artwork that includes the Pendragon insignia. Tolkien, Anduril was forged from the shards of the sword Narsil, carried by Aragorn, the heir to the throne of Gondor. Aragorn used the sword against the forces of Sauron and assumed the name of Elessar once the final victory was won.
